Overview

The Easter Surf Camp is most suitable for 9 to 16 year olds.

The course concentrates on building confidence in waves through fun and instruction for first timers and progressing surfing techniques for the more experienced. Beach Safety Instruction (compiled by Paul Tuohy R.N.L.I. Helmsman and Education Officer), Wave Forecasting, Surf Etiquette and Surf Lingo are also part of the four day camp.

An Oceanics Certificate of attendance is presented to those attending all 4 days. All equipment is supplied but the more advanced may bring their own on consultation with the senior instructor.

Times:

This camp runs every year starting on the Tuesday of the 2nd week of the holidays at 10.30 am each morning and finishing at 12.30 pm.
