About Me

Experienced surfer, surfing since 1998. Paul Tuohy taught him to surf initially and was such a natural and a very strong swimmer, he brought him out the back on his second lesson! Hawg only likes surf where he has the 'fear of God in him' when putting on his wetsuit!

Working in Oceanics since June 2008.

Loves working in Oceanics because… "of the flexible hours, great working environment. Paul and Linda are very approachable people if you have a problem. Toots is a cracking head instructor!".

Surf Qualifications:

• IWS Beach Lifeguard in Tramore 1999-2004
• Head Beach Lifeguard, Tramore 2000- 2004
• Received Bravery Award from Irish Water Safety.
• Currently competes in Masters Competitions.
• Holds record for fastest swim from Brownstown Head to Guillimene (width of Tramore Bay).
• National Surf Lifesaving Medallist in many disciplines including 'Board Rescue' and 'Open Sea Swim'.
