There is NO extra charge for  equipment hire when doing a surf lesson. All your surfing equipment is supplied and included in the price of the surf lesson.

Oceanics has the following surfing equipment available for rental.

This includes soft boards in the following sizes:

• 9ft (beginner)
• 8ft (intermediate)
• 7ft (kids & advanced)

Cost is €25 to rent any of our "All In" packages which includes surfboards, wetsuit, boots, gloves, hoods along with changing facilities and showers. This is for 2  hrs. Cost for up to 3 hours is €40. We also offer all day hire packs but you need to ring and book ahead for these.

If you require only wetsuit gear and have your own surfbboard then the cost is €15 per 2 hours During the winter it includes boots and gloves. From May to October it is wetsuit only. Or if you want to only hire a surfboard cost is €15 per 2 hours.

For Bodyboards and 6ft kids fun boards cost is  €7 per 2 hours.

When renting during the summer please keep in mind we can run low on surfboards due to lessons etc … So please ring and book ahead to ensure we have a surfboard available for the time you want.

Unfortunately we are not able to rent hard surfboards to advanced surfers for insurance reasons. In 2009, we became a board test centre for Circle One, so if you are thinking of buying a new surfboard and like the idea of a test run, then come and have a chat and "Try it Out" before you buy, and we'll give a discount on buying your Circle One surfboard to make up for the hire!!
